Eddie Hearn is expecting "an absolute war" when Katie Taylor renews her rivalry with Chantelle Cameron this weekend.

Tickets have sold out for the 3Arena rematch as Taylor aims to avenge the first defeat of her professional career against the Northampton native on another massive night for Irish boxing.

Hearn, who has promoted all of Taylor's pro fights, believes the 37-year-old wasn't at her best physically back in May, when Cameron won via majority decision, and he expects to see much better from both fighters on Saturday night.

He said at Wednesday's open workouts at Liffey Valley: "I know that physically she wasn't at her best last time, but I hate even saying it because then you're not giving Chantelle Cameron the credit.

"She's in a much better place physically for this fight, but a lot of people in the boxing world are saying how does she beat Chantelle?

"If you look at that first fight, every Katie Taylor fight she wins the first five rounds 5-0 or 4-1. Even against Serrano, she's always ahead.

"After the first four rounds last time, she was run like a rag doll so the start of this fight is so important and she'll know that as well.

"She's got to get off to a fast start. When the first bell goes, she will come out, Chantelle Cameron, she will work Katie Taylor down and she will throw the kitchen sink at her in the first half of the fight. It's going to be an absolute war this fight."

Matchroom boss Hearn says that from a business perspective, taking the rematch is probably a bad decision for Taylor, but that she had no interest in any other fight and all she wants is to avenge that loss.

He explained: "You could have offered her ten times the money to fight someone else, she would never have done it.

"She's been so driven to win this fight and one thing is for sure, she will be levels above where she was last time, but so will Chantelle Cameron.

"I went up to see Chantelle Cameron in training camp. She thinks she's winning this fight by stoppage 110%. She thinks she didn't do that well last time.

"I think Katie is right up against it and for the first time in her history, she's an underdog."

Both Cameron and her team have expressed their frustration that the rematch is both back in Dublin and for the undisputed super lightweight champion's belts.

Her trainers Jamie Moore and Nigel Travis believe that it would have been fair for Cameron after winning last time to either have the chance to fight for Taylor's belts or to stage the event in England.

But due to the much larger money generated by hosting the fight in Ireland, Hearn says that was never an option.

He said: "These girls are making a fortune, right? And good luck to 'em. They deserve every penny. To do that, you have to hit a certain number on the gate. The only place where we can hit that number is in Dublin.

"It's all very well saying, 'That should be in Northampton or in England.' At the end of the day, you want the money? You've gotta let us make the money to deliver for you. If you want half your purse, go to England. Try having those negotiations for the fight.

"We had the right to stage it where we wanted to deliver those numbers, so that's why we're back in Dublin.

"And by the way, let's also look around and see the draw [that Katie is]. We can't just... Chantelle Cameron is rising to a new level. You don't just get to Katie Taylor levels in six months. This has been built across her lifetime."

On if there was ever a discussion about the rematch being for Taylor's lightweight belts, Hearn added: "No, she said, 'I lost at 140.' It's the same as Canelo when he boxed [Dimitry] Bivol. He said, 'Why would I drag him down to my weight? If I beat him, everyone's going to go, 'Ugh, you dragged him down to 168 (from 175).'

"If Katie loses, she's still the champion down at 135 -- but she won't care. She won't even feel like a champion."
