It was an emotional day in Rosanna Davison’s household she marked a huge milestone with all of her kids starting school.

The former Miss World said she had a ‘wobbly’ week as she prepared to wave her three children off on their first day of preschool.

Opening up about the emotional moment, the mum of twins Hugo and Oscar, and daughter, Sophia, posted an image giving her little ones a hug in their new uniforms saying “I’m a very proud mum today.”

She went on: “The big day has arrived!

“There were tears from Hugo but the others were so excited. Hugo is very attached to me and cries even when I walk out of the room at home, so I've been most anxious about him.”

The busy model and author added that it felt strange to come back to a quiet house without the little ones running around, as her twins joined their big sister at school.

She jokingly quipped: “Looking forward to not cleaning up after anybody for a few hours every morning,” and told of her excitement to hear all about it when they returned home.

Rosanna had been building up to the moment all week and shared her preparation ahead of the huge day for her family.

She said: “Their little uniforms are labelled, folded and laid out for tomorrow… their new school bags are packed… new pencil cases full of colourful crayon.

“I’m a bit wobbly today thinking about the magical baby years slowly coming to an end.

“I’ll have three in preschool from tomorrow and a quiet house for the first time in almost 4 years.

“But they’re starting an exciting new adventure and they’re ready for it. I’m so excited for them.

“Big hugs to those of you feeling the same.”

She went on to share a post on Instagram, which read: ‘Shout out to anyone who has a kid starting school and who’s trying to be cool about it but is actually an emotional wreck.”
